Stars such as Sir Andy Murray, Joe Royle, Casey Stoney and Kate Richardson-Walsh have called on Cognita communities around the world to get involved in the inaugural Cognita Home Games on 18-22 May 2020. This optional event will feature a series of fitness and fun skills challenges for participating school and office communities within the Cognita family to join in with at home.

With around – at least 60 Cognita schools set to be involved, participating students, staff and families will compete to win the trophy for the school with the highest average score and the highest average participation. Schools and offices will also form part of their regional team in the bid to win the highest score or highest participation trophy across the three regions within Cognita – Asia, Europe and Latin America. Individual medals will be up for grabs for the athletes who gain the target medal scores in their age group.

Beth Kerr, Cognita’s Group Wellbeing Director, said: “Sport is celebrated the world over for improving health and happiness, and this virtual event is designed to bring our communities together during school closures. We can’t wait to get the inaugural games under way and we wish all our athletes the very best of luck. As our star supporters say, all you can do is get involved, try your best and, most importantly, have fun!”
